Egg Chappathi – முட்டை சப்பாத்தி


  • Wheat flour – 250 g
  • Corn flour – 50g
  • Eggs – 4
  • Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Chilli powder – 1 tsp
  • Salt – Required
  • Oil – Required

How to Prepare

Total Preparation time: 20-25 minutes

  1. Take wheat flour in bowl add water gradually and make a sticky dough
  2. Marinate 20-30 minutes for fluffiness
  3. Split the dough into small dough balls
  4. Take some corn flour and rub over small dough
  5. Roll this dough into medium round shape using circular rolling board and rolling pin
  6. In the mean time, take a bowl, break and add eggs, then add salt followed by turmeric powder, chilli powder and beat them well
  7. Take a ordinary pan and cook the chappathi dough on both side
  8. Once chappathi is cooked, add egg mixture over it
  9. Spread it all over the chappathi and turn it back cook it for 1 minute
  10. Add egg on the both sides and cook for 2 minutes
  11. Now the Egg chappathi ready to serve
